Easy Home Remedies to Get Rid of Blackheads

 There are several and best ways to remove blackheads from the face. You can DIY at home, or, for more severe or persistent cases of acne, you can see a dermatologist.

 



Here are a few methods that you help you with removing the blackheads.

 

1. Steam it Out

 

Steaming is an effective way of removing blackheads. It helps to relax and open the pores in your skin, which can help to clean them.

 

Note: It is very important to wash your face with room temperature water before you start to get any dirt, grime, make-up, and oils off of your skin.

 

Directions

 

  1. Fill a sink or bowl with hot water.
  2. Drap a towel over your face and the sink creating a tent to trap the steam and heat inside, softening your skin and opening your pores. Do this in about 5 – 10min
  3. After, rinse your face with cold water and moisturize using a natural moisturizer.

 

2. Cleansing Sugar Scrub

 

Sugar is a good scrub in removing the blackheads from the face as it prevents the clogging of pores, acne, and whiteheads too.

 

Material

 

  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Jojoba oil – 4 tbsp
  • Glass jar
  • Essential oil

 

Directions

 

  1. Mix the jojoba oil and sugar in a cup.
  2. Add some drops of the essential oil to the mixture.
  3. You can use the glass jar to store this mixture.
  4. Now, wet your face and apply this mixture on the wet skin.
  5. Keep it for some time and wash it with lukewarm water.

 

3. Charcoal mask

 

Like clay masks, charcoal masks work deep in the skin to draw out oil, dead skin cells, and other impurities. The ingredient charcoal is thought to take these benefits up another notch. Used once weekly.

 

4. Using Lemon

 

Shrinking your pores would help in preventing the formation of blackheads. Lemon juice is a good agent for shrinking the pores and to lighten the skin.

 

Things needed

 

  • Lemon
  • Cotton balls
  • Bottle

 

Directions

 

  1. Wash your face clearly and try it
  2. Squeeze the lemon juice in the bottle and dip a cotton ball in it.
  3. Apply the juice on the face at bedtime.
  4. Rinse the face after 10 minutes with lukewarm water.
  5. Apply a moisturizer.

 

5. Egg White Mask

 

Egg whites are very nutritious to the skin as well as a blackhead-removing agent. This tightens the pores so that the blackheads do not appear again. They prevent the skin from excess dryness and also from exfoliation.

 

Things needed

 

  • 1 Egg
  • Tissue
  • Bowl
  • Towel

 

Directions

 

  1. Separate out the egg white and the yolk and take only the white in a bowl.
  2. Make your face dry and apply a single layer of egg white to your face.
  3. Once this is dry, place the tissue over the first layer and apply the next layer of egg white.
  4. Now, after the second layer dries, place the tissue again and apply the third layer of egg white.
  5. Leave it to dry for some time and rinse it with warm water.
